Tom Marshall has been playing piano and guitar for over 35 years, and has enjoyed the opportunity to teach children and adults since 1982. He has a Bachelors degree from Trevecca University in Nashville, TN (Music City USA). His musical interest has led him to learn to play many other instruments. He currently teaches piano, guitar, bass guitar, banjo and mandolin.
His goal is to develop a friendly and encouraging relationship with each student in an effort to motivate them to do their very best. Tom says, "It takes discipline to learn to play an instrument but the journey to consistent improvement should be enjoyable."
He is experienced in a wide range of musical styles and helps his students to pursue their individual musical interest. Lessons in music theory, technique, sight reading and musical performance are taught to each student. He has learned from many great teachers in grade school, high school and college and would love to share his education and experience with you.
